USB cable where are you?

So I won't be posting pictures any time soon. I have lost the USB cable that transfers pictures from my camera to my computer, and I've been to one photo store and two electronic stores and there are no USB cables in this darn city. They can be ordered, but that takes ''maybe 10 days, maybe more.'' You know the French, so vague. I'm going to scour the city tomorrow, and if I can't find one, I'll have to put in an ''order.''

On the bright side, I was able to buy more minutes for my phone, buy a camera case, and look for the USB cable....all in French! Yeah me! And I bought a baguette and only ate half of it. I'm improving my French AND my willpower. I even went to the exercise class at my work again today. Although it was slightly embarassing when I was struggling in the plank position 1-minute hold and all the 50- and 60-year old ladies were telling stories about climbing Mt. Kilamenjaro.

Tonight I'm laying low to save money and prepare for the onslaught of activity to come in the next few weeks. It's Fashion Week in Paris, and Suzanne's roommate is a fashion assistant for the creative director of Chloe (amazing job I know) and is giving us all the inside scoop on the shows. She's actually giving Suzanne a seat for the Chloe runway show (I can't write anymore about that or the green monster will take over...). Point is, we were going to stalk celebrities outside tonight's runway show, but it was over before we all got home. However, we already have the Sunday Givenchy show on our calendars - because obviously even though we were not invited, they will realize they made a mistake in leaving us off the guest list when we show up and awkwardly hover around the entrance...

The rest of the weekend I plan to explore my new neighborhood and enjoy Paris!
