I really appreciate the fact that watching French TV helps me with my language skills. However, I really miss my American TV shows. You all know how obsessed I am! Well, I was extremely upset to learn upon my arrival that ABC.com only lets you watch its shows online if you are in America. How discriminatory!! Fortunately, I found out today that my new Italian work friend loves Desparate Housewives, Grey's, Brothers and Sisters, etc, and has found a way to download them! Yeah for American TV night in France!
On an even more exciting note, I found out that Carnevale in Italy takes place this month, and the one person I know in Italy is going!! But for some reason the world of trains, planes, and automobiles (and my bank account) are conspiring against me and making it really hard for me to go. Maybe I should quit my job? That would make it plus facile!
Or I can join the prostitutes on the street below my apartment... Ben and I were calculating how much money we can make based on how many times this one girl comes in and out of her apartment with a man. (What a great new drinking game that would be...take a shot every time...). Anyways, the point is... we could be rich!
Oh...and I just discovered French chocolate "Cote D'Or." It may be the best thing I've ever tasted, and if Ben doesn't hurry back from his video shoot (he and all his friends are in the film business), I may eat his entire chocolate bar!
